Introduction

Hi all, welcome to Next In Health. We’re focused on exploring contemporary issues that have a negative impact on health. We’ve recently moved to Medium, so please be patient with us as we get our bearings and explore this new platform.

Next In Health started as a blog to explore health inequalities and highlight some the issues faced by marginalised communities in accessing health. We hope to show how we can educate health professionals, students and the general public to reduce the disparities seen in health, by drawing on current scientific research to explore health inequalities and the social determinants of health. We will draw lessons from the past, explore present practice and see what our future holds.
